My Love Affair with Gingerbread Men

I started collecting Gingerbread Men years ago...I can recall looking for pieces to add to my collection and being so annoyed when I could find not a thing some years...this was in the late 80s and back then, Santas and snowmen were the big boys on the holiday decorating block for the most part...I decorate my dining room in a combination Gingerbread Men and  Gingerbread Houses/Candyland theme...the last several years I've been collecting the Dept 56 Kindles as they blend perfectly with this theme.....Here's a few men in my life I'll share with you today:

    I love your gingy collection, Gayle! I remember when they were hard to find too. My cousin collects penguins & usually has trouble finding them also.

    I love it, too! I love the title of your post, too! I have a more candyland theme than gingerbread because I have more of the candy. I love your carolers!

    I vividly remember getting "roped" into decorating that gingerbread tree in the dining room a few times. I would always gripe a bit at first, but I think you knew once you got me going I would enjoy it :-)

    Your gingers are looking wonderful. Just wish that ginger I had bought as a surprise for you would show. Still think it never got in my bag from the Christmas Tree Shops.
